Here are some ideas I got for the new OmnomIRC. It would be nice to see certain features back too. I know nick tab completion, the french channel and the pink/banelingroll easter eggs are coming back.
-The return of today's logs link, so we have a quick link to the current convo if we need more than 40 lines or so
-The return of the rules link. However I kinda fear the links list would get big x.x
-Not focusing at the bottom of the logs list when checking this year's logs
-Links to 2005-10 logs on this year's logs page (although they're also available via the misc page)
-Being able to switch channels directly from OmnomIRC, so we don't have to always go via the options menu. Maybe some flag icons at the top of the chat, overlapping on the chat convo?

-Multiple tabs for other channels (not the french one, but like #ti)?

-Shorter OmnomIRC bot timeout

I don't think adding OmnomIRC bot in #ti is a good idea. We do not own this channel at all and I bet with some of the randomness going on in Omnimaga that the bot will get banned fast if people starts posting memes and weird stuff in that chan.

Yeah it relays everything said from the site to #omnimaga. Kinda like saxjax does with SAX on Cemetech.

1) I'm going to make the 'logs' button go to a new page that lets you choose what log(inside the iframe, it'll all look good)
2) The rules are linked to at the top, so I felt it was unnecessary and redundant
3) See 1)
4) See 1)
5) I'm going to add a dropdown selection box for channels, either up where the options text is, or by the send button
@Frey, there is no more timeout on the new bot.

OmnomIRC occasionally breaks, and the only way to fix it is to let the bot time out and then rejoin itself back into the chan

I know it's not what you meant, but I could actually add tabs at the top for what channel you're currently in, then it'd be easy as hell to switch. Might even be able to get #ti people in on it.

I'm not sure where to post this, but update==awesome.
However, some of the scrolling buttons (the arrows) are a bit small and hard to click...
If they could be made a bit larger, that would be great ;D

Yeah maybe they could be a bit larger indeed.
Also, earlier today Omnom stopped refreshing completely and displayed the wrong channel logs for a while. The online list was empty too. It started working again now. During the downtime, sending messages to #omnimaga worked anyway, though.
EDIT: Now the online list is gone again.
