Padding
« on: June 27, 2011, 12:43:41 pm »
Quick suggestion: A bit of padding to the left of the OmnomIRC div. It's stuck to the left side of the blue box right now, and I just think it would look better with a bit of whitespace there, especially to the left of the text box since IMO it's too far commu left right now.

Just noticed that...a bit more space would make it look better...
Maybe the same amount of space as below it?

btw, the right tab-scrolling arrow is overlapped by the # omnimaga tab :P

EDIT: and the bottom-right arrow, the large one, would look better if it was above the send button (not stricty above, but above and to the right of like it's to the right of it now) rather than below it.  Basically in a position similar to the other button, in the chat part.  Unless the text is just scrolled up graphically (a la Disp i), then I guess that would be hard to debug and it could prolly be left as-is.

And speaking of that arrow (and padding), here's my other suggestion:

Yay, and as a last-minute suggestion how about making the actual scrolling buttons smaller but giving each one some padding? That way if I accidentally click the whitespace near it it would still scroll, and it would look more consistent with the other small buttons.

Yeah I agree, and maybe have some to the right too, so we can't scroll left-right with arrows. We would also see the entire dashed rectangle border for the online list.
