Hmm netham45,

I hope for the new Spybot45 that you did not modify the forum code directly to implement the site-side portion of it, because if we ever got forced to reinstall the board files and the mods for example, this would overwrite your changes O.O

I am asking, because I couldn't see any site mods that were installed that actually notified of posts.

Nope, I'm directly connecting to the sql DB, I'm not touching the PHP side of SMF at all.
