I have recently started as a developer on this game called AssaultCube Reloaded(ACR). It is a fork of AssaultCube which is a fork of the original Cube. So far I haven't done much other than tweak weapon damage/recoil, modify how grenades do damage, and some linux compatibility issues. Recently I have started working on adding in the ability to set custom teams. If anyone finds any bugs please post here or on the forums and the bug tracker, link below. Any issues or suggestions I'm glad to work on them.

Cube brings me some memories. I remember trying it back then and it looked quite fun to play. I think I got to play online with someone only once, though, because there were barely anyone connected. D:
I doubt I will have much time to try your version yet, though. Hopefully when I get more time.

Most of the time there are very few people online in our version. Hopefully we start getting more people though so the game can be more enjoyable for everyone(currently I host the only always on server)

Maybe in the future you could get the server added on http://status.omnimaga.org/ or maybe the front page here, like Cemetech had for a while. In the portal side navigation, it would say if Omni-related servers such as Minecraft, AssaultCube and Radio are online or not, but also mention how many players there are, like how Cemetech states how many people are connected via gCn.

Thats actually one of the things I'm going to work on implementing. A system to let the server generate a report of who's online, what they are playing, and how long its been up.

You'r a developer for a real game? nice, good luck with it! :D

Thanks. Its still pretty small, but I think its a pretty fun game.
