It includes a nice comprehensive list of bot policies across EFnet servers. Useful in case you don't want your IRC bots getting shot on sight :)

Servers not to use, in particular:

• irc.mindspring.com
• irc.prison.net
• irc.umich.edu
• efnet.cs.hut.fi
• efnet.demon.co.uk

Yeah I remember when I had a bot, I had to find a server that allowed them, along with more than 1 connection at once. X.x

I find particulat efnet.port80.se a very good server for bots as they allow a lot of frequent reconnecting, like if you just have to change a little bit of code and test. That is also the server I use all the time :)

Even though I'm not a bot, prison.net shot me down for no good reason. They don't like anything automatic there.
