Title: Mr. Mudkip series
Post by: JosJuice on November 20, 2010, 03:23:42 pm
Mr. Mudkip started as a joke game I slapped together in a few hours. As time passed, more games were made and they became famous on a few Swedish forums I used to visit. The newer games are definitely more advanced than the first game, but they are still joke games. Expect bad spelling and graphics! (and epic lulz)

The third game in the main series, Mr. Mudkip 3, was started about a year ago. I couldn't continue with it due to my lack of experience with battle engines - right now, the battle mechanics are mostly non-functioning (although it looks like they are somewhat complete). I've recently started working on it again, but I have no idea if it will ever be finished.

All of the games can be downloaded in a single .exe file:

I also used to program in GameMaker...
But I switched to c#, because I wanted a real language to be able to use...

I always like C#, much better than C++ in my opinion, much less crap to deal with.

Interesting, I'll try those later I think. :)

Someone really needs to do Pokémon: Mudkipz Version :P

Btw I never used Game Maker, but I used RPG Maker 2003. It can be good to make some RPGs, although if you want to create an action RPG or use a complex custom battle system you might be out of luck with it.
