Title: Linux Mint problem
Post by: Sorunome on April 05, 2012, 06:32:47 am
Hey, I got a little problem with Linux Mint 12 KDE 64 bit version: I can't change all the system settings. I somehow can't change when screensaver settings, I can't change that .iso is played be default via vlc and I can't change my standart browser. Well, first it seems to be working as it doesn't give a error when "changing" but it is all just as it used to be.
Please help me!

What error do you get? Could you post a screenshot?

Did you somehow change the permissions of some dot files in your home directory?  (possible by editing them as root)

I ment that it DIDN'T display some error code....
And I didn't change any permissions, I don't have linux mint to long now and I noticed that as I wanted to change these settings.
