Title: USB IrDA Remote Control

Hi, I got a USB IrDA stick and I wanted to use it as a remote control, but I realized I got the wrong type after ordering it. Does anyone know any ways I could use this with a remote or stuff like that?

It'd be best if I could configure what it does, but if it works on WinAmp or WMP, it would be cool.
