Title: Submitting Highscore System Broken
Post by: Jonius7 on May 14, 2012, 07:10:22 am
It seems that submitting the score on games in general is broken! To confirm this I tried several games in both Chrome and Firefox (can't be bothered opening up other browsers). I tried Monstermunch, Plasmanaut v2, and Asteroids 2 and they all did not work in submitting my score. Has this got something to do with disabling features a few weeks ago?

Wasn't there another topic about this in site feedback? ???

It seems to work fine for me in Opera, though (although I didn't try every single game, only Asteroids)

Oh I'm not sure about this other topic. I decided this board, but maybe it's in the wrong place then.
Yes I noticed you played Asteroids 2 on 12 May in Arcade shouts. Weird. Maybe I should clear cache, but then it didn't work in Firefox and Chrome...

EDIT: Ok cleared cache and got this message when I tried to submit (Hmm...)

An Error Has Occurred!
Score was not saved because checks failed and you probably tried to cheat or your browser is malfunctioning

You know what? That message sounds very Netham-ian

I guess this is server misconfugiration then. Maybe it just plain stopped supporting firefox. You'll have to use Opera from now on.

Lol I haven't tried it in Opera yet. But Chrome and Firefox not working...
On a side note, my Google Chrome starts freezing randomly recently (usually when I click on certain Url links) but don't think that's related.

EDIT: Tried it in Opera. No response at all, just like what I had in Chrome and Firefox. Maybe if I refresh the cache...
