Thanks, and as I said, it's written under the RM2K3 engine (like Game Maker, but mainly designed for RPGs).

Lol ok I wondered due to the x.x smiley :P

EDIT: Looks like this might solve my save/load problem: Custom save/load screen tutorial :D http://www.rpg-maker.fr/tutoriels-468-creer-un-systeme-de-sauvegarde-custom-avance.html

On top of that it uses the same patch I'm using for custom title screens lol.

He said the following but put it in the wrong place:

Are you editing the RGSS's scripts?
no because RPG Maker 2003 doesn't support RGSS scripts, unlike XP/VX.

By the way, quite ironically, in 2008, XP (which came out in 2004) didn't run under Vista, yet 2003 did O.O

Well for that you'll need to disassemble the EXE once released, because RM2K3 is pretty much just clicking tilemaps and adding events, selecting pre-made commands there. XD

Also per pre-emptive measures, I backed up my project on 3 hard drives and online here http://djomni.julosoft.net/rol0remake/ :P

It's a software that lets you create role playing games without programming knowledge, kinda like how Game Maker lets you create different games without having to code. It can do great stuff, but of course I don't recommend it if you know a computer programming language or are willing to learn one. It's mostly for those who absolutely don't want to code or just can't. And the tradeoff for being more accessible to new game creators is that like BASIC and Axe, it is at risk of allowing n00bish games to come out too (most notably La Quête du Pénis Doré in French, made in RPG Maker 95 in 2000).

Hm if you want to be completely sure you won't lose it, I'm willing to backup on my pc aswell.

Nah I shall be fine. I got two hosting accounts and 3 hard drives. I only didn't backup on 57o9 because SFTP there is down.
