Cool. There's not really a need for it, but it could be cool.
Steam Big Picture + TV + PC would already do the trick but I guess this could work on a smaller budget.

But yeah this seems kinda nice. However I wonder how it will do with already 3 other established console companies around? If it supports Steam's games, then it might do well due to the large variety of them, but if it has a limited game genre library like the PS3 had, then it might be problematic for them. I keep hearing about other companies wanting to release their own consoles as well, like Apple, for example, and the On-Live console. Hoping that the video game market won't get over-saturated or something (although the cool thing would be lower console prices)

If this can run steam games then who needs the ps3? :o all console players just need their steam account to go on pc but also on console, now they have to buy steam version and/or ps version

No but i mean, if someone want to play for example mw3 on the console but also on pc, he needs to buy the ps3 version, and the steam version, so pay 2 times

And if steam is supported on valve console, they only have to buy the game once.... For console and pc together...
