I played all pokemon, some dragon quests, revelation, lufia, etc.
Any more things that I can try? (I don't want any ARPG though since I suck at it too much)
-
LEGEND OF ZELDA. I love LoZ sooo much. If you havent played it before, but don't like ARPGs, you still might like it. It always has a nice deep story to the games. Minish Cap for the GBA was one of my favorites
The Mana series (Sword of Mana, Children of Mana), Final Fantasy.

As much as I'm not a fan of the series, one of the best GBC games I ever played was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Combining Harry Potter with a classic turn-based RPG worked out quite well in my opinion.
Super Mario Bros Deluxe was a pretty sweet GBC game too.

SOO GOOD; check out the first one as well they're practically the same.
Try Donkey Kong Country for GBC it's awesome too. For NDS imo advance wars dual strike is one of the best games ever as well

Chrono Trigger exists on the DS(I think)
Mario&Luigi: Partners in Time(DS)
Mario&Luigi: Bowser's inside story(DS)
Mario&Luigi: Super Star Saga(GBA, so no luck if you have a DSi)
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes(DS)

Legacy of Ys: Books I & II (DS) (And if you have a PSP, get a copy of Ys Seven.) The Ys series is amazing, although unfortunately it's a niche series outside of Japan.
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (DS) (And if Golden Sun (GBA) and Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) are as good, them too.)
Final Fantasy VI Advance (GBA) (My absolute favorite Final Fantasy.)
Lunar Knights (DS)
Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light (DS)
Final Fantasy III (DS)
Megaman Starforce 1 and 3 (DS) (2 isn't bad either, but I prefer 1 and 3.)
Megaman Battle Network 2 (GBA)
Megaman ZX (DS)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS)
Megaman Xtreme (GBC) (I just love the X series!)
Megaman Xtreme 2 (GBC) (Largely the same, but you can play as Zero in this one!)
That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'll have more for you tomorrow. :P
-
I've done all the megaman games XD
I might try Y's though.
-
I think Beyblade and Bakugan is good....
Jk

The Final Fantasys for the DS were pretty good.
And yes, Chrono Trigger DS is the best remake I have ever seen. They took everything good about the game, and mixed it with the stuff the console brought, in a non-conflicting way.
For GBC, Lufia was a good one.

I can tell that you like chrono trigger by looking at your avatar :P

GBC: Dragon warrior I & II, Dragon warrior III, All the Zelda Titles (though they are ARPG), Magi nation.
DS: Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Lost magic(RTS/RPG) Final Fantasy Tactics(RTS/RPG), Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy I & II(GBA)

I especially liked 2's leveling system. I can make ALL my characters Black Mage Monks? Woohoo!
-

Which dies like twenty times because u hav no def <_<
-
yeah... black mages suck at def :P
did you specifically name that character turiq 'cause you knew he's die? :/
I has 3 fighters and a RedMage in my file. no blackmages ;)
-
No, but that's how it turned out to be XP
BTW, you are a monk, not black mage.
I haz no black mage on my team XD
-
good...
-
I used to do 2 White 2 Black, and I'd use the whites like fighters. Powerleveling balances it out :P

Well, I had lots of time to powerlevel. :P

I'd recommend Zelda: Links Awakening, which is one of my all time favorite RPGs. It was for the original Game Boy, and was later re-released on the GBC and 3DS.
-
Link's awakening for 3DS? O.o
Sounds wonderful XD
But I already beat both LoZ and LoZ DX :(

I beat DX on hardware with a no death run :P missing 3 heart pieces to a complete file!!

I can't believe I forgot Radiant Historia.
A final-fantasy-esque RPG with a good story, and an interesting, but simple twist on the battle engine. Not to mention the time traveling, so if you forget the plot you can review it all again! (oh, and it does have a skip button, two in fact. One for speeding through convos, the other for skipping whole cutscenes, which is good since you are often required to double back on a particular timeline.)
