I heard that halo 2 PC will only be on windows vista, it sucks so much, I guess I'll prbly just stick with halo 1 or one day get a xbox 360 and wii, but I'm not into consoles much anymore anyway I mostly play games on PC nowadays (or handled)

but still that piss me off

they're probably going to take advantage of directX 10? functionality with Windows Vista. I don't know what that will do though.

Come to think of it, I don't think any of my computers will be vista ready. Definitely hope I can get a computer for college that can dual boot vista and ubuntu.

yeah last time I upgraded to a new os lot of programs didnt worked anymore, it may take a while before xp programs are all updatred for vista. that unless it has good backward compatibility or xp integrated

Eh, meh @ Halo 2. I dunno why there's so much hype over it, I mean Halo was fun back in the day, but it's just another generic fps. CS:S and BF2 are better anyways. Halo 2 is just like Halo 1, but everything is shinier. Story is the same, everything is the same, dual weilding isn't that great. You can actually hold the blue swords now, but you should have been able to in Halo 1, kill stuff, etc. I'd rather spend my $$$ on something actually good. Like Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. :>

aye. Games that run on Vista will NOT work on XP and vice versa. I think it has to do with the revamped data logistics or sumthin.

i just want to beat Halo 3 just to see how they end the story and then see where it ranks among other trilogies.

*gasp*, how dare you say that! /jk, (don't mean to start anything). I am a huge halo fan, personally, i think it's way better than BF2 or CS. The multiplayer aspect just rulz, as me and my friends still do linkup almost every weekend. The whole feel of the game is very polished, and halo 2 is WAY different than Halo1.

I can't wait for Halo3, but the only reason that i think might even get halo2 for PC would be free online play

But even if you like Halo wouldn't you rather spend that $50 on a game that's actually different and full of uberness? Dl the demo of Dark Messiah... Sry, I'm getting off topic. I can't help but spam that game everywhere.

The point is, Halo 2 is maybe worth lookin' up on isohunt.com, but it ain't worth $50 or however much it costs.

^lots and lots of videos with different weapons and stuff. The one I posted was just my favorite. Also, Dark Messiah is more of an action game than an rpg, though it has some rpg-ish elements. Also gots pwnage multiplayer with seige weapons and all sorts of crap.
