Does anyone like Lufia? I'm fan of Lufia and I'm collecting money for new DS version X)

Lufia is great. Sadly I did not get very far yet into the first two games. I need to play again. The only annoying thing is that with the first game (which occurs after the second) when you selected an enemy and it dies before a character hits him, it doesn't automatically select a new enemy. That is very 1987 and poorly designed. Aside from that Lufia is one of the greatest RPG series, IMHO. I never played the 3rd game, though, only the ones for the Super Nintendo.

Epic music too.

I've been playing the gameboy color version of the game on and off, but I didn't manage to get very far. I have the ones for SNES as well, but I have yet to play them.

That reminds me, I should really play those games again. I might start with the 2nd one, though.

The second one was great. Lots of replay value. And very time consuming if you attempt the Ancient Cave challenge (100 floors, no way to save. Start at lv 1 with crap equipment. Can't take anything out of the cave except stuff in the blue chests. Your exit item "Providence" doesn't appear until around floor 20)

There's even a replay mode that's all about the Ancient Cave thing. Lets you pick and choose among any party member you've ever had in your journey.

I would personally want to start with the second one because the first one is the sequel to the second one, even though it came out 3 years before. I don't like it as much too because it has the same enemy target issue as FF1/2 for the NES did, making battles annoying sometimes, especially grinding. When grinding you don't want to always have to take your time to select enemies properly so no character attacks an empty enemy slot if the enemy dies.

Hmm... maybe I'll give the second one a go then. :)
