Title: Mario Kart 7 Omnimaga Community
Post by: calc84maniac on December 28, 2011, 08:39:57 pm
Hey guys, if you have a copy of Mario Kart 7, I made an Omnimaga community that we can join to more easily race each other! For those who care, it's 100cc Grand Prix and All Items. The community code is 33-0368-8971-0644, so let's go play the game! ;D

7 is the new one for the 3ds right? I haven't played it yet, is it any good? I think the last Mario Kart game I played was double dash, which was pretty darn good. =)

Ooh, I just got a 3DS and the game is great!  I wonder how active the community will be.

Yeah, this one seems really great so far. I've wasted so much time playing online :P

Cool, maybe I'll have to buy it and waste some time. :P

The game is good, but the online connection is horrible (constant connection errors and timeouts). Otherwise I might try joining.

I haven't had many problems with the online multiplayer, but I've heard a few complaints.  I guess it requires fast Internet or something.

If I remember it had something to do with routers and wi-fi connections. Sometimes I'll play vs people, but on the next game it will say an error occured then I have to restart finding people.

Also I hate how you can't invite people to games like in most modern games (Starcraft II, the entire Xbox 360, etc)

I guess I'm gonna pick it up. I do happen to have a best buy gift card with ~$70 on it... :D

Double dash was by far the best Mario Kart game, IMO.  Although the Wii version was prety good.  I always felt the DS versions were a little slow and less dynamic.

I noticed in the 3DS version there are fewer item spots it seems and less projectiles/power ups, while in the DS version, I always had an hard time to even touch the item blocks at all. Both are still quite good, although I haven't tried Double Dash and Super Circuit yet. I only played the SNES and N64 ones besides that.

I've played all Mario Karts so far.  I like the ds versions because you can just play with your friends wherever you are.  I was disappointed that the 3DS game had no missions or single player vs, though.  It felt really short compared to the DS game.
