According to this site, Starcraft II Beta should be resuming again soon. A new patch came out today. At the moment I am updating my copy of SCII beta:

The first phase of beta testing ended one month ago.
If the second one resumes, I guess that means back to SCII ;D

The beta seems back now ^^
I wonder if zerglings were balanced to not allow cooliojazzination anymore...

On an unrelated note, Blizzard really wants people to get addicted to WoW: If you participated to the Starcraft II Beta, you may have gotten an e-mail giving you a free copy of World of Warcraft including a free monthly subscription. O.O
I thought about giving it a try anyway, but when I saw 9.3 GB download remaining I simply closed the downloader. <_<

9.3 GB? O.O
What, did they encode the whole world into it with a few AIs to boot?
-
Not sure. You can start playing when half of it is downloaded, apparently, but you may have performance issues. Also that's without any expansion set. O.O

I think there is always WoW Free Trial in every Blizzard games...(Diablo II, SC, SCII)....
-
And can you participate in the beta if you haven't done so before?
-
No, but if you own the game and have an account, there is a way to participate to beta-tests of new patches. You just run a different exe file.

Yeah, I got two with SC2, one from SC1 battle chest and I think another in WC3. However, it only contained a 10 days subscription, not the entire game.
