It is not available for sale everywhere anymore and not everyone can buy stuff online due to parents, not to mention some people got no money and cannot get a job yet. Also leagues have been removed from SC for ages if I remember, unless they're still available on european server? iCCup got leagues too.

Cool, I hope it works for you. I usually play on iCCup nowadays but sometimes on Battle.net too when there aren't enough people on iCCup. The problem with Battle.Net now, especially since Starcraft II came out, is that there are more and more hackers since no more patches are being released (the typical hack being used is the one that causes winners to disconnect right before game ends to get a free win) and for those who only play melee/tvb/ffa regular games, not UMS games (like Tower Defense), barely have anymore map choice, because everyone play on Fastest Money Map Ever, Zero Clutter, Micro Fastest and Big Game Hunters. Those are cool sometimes but it sucks that nobody play Lost Temple and such map anymore. :/

Btw I mostly play Zerg but on non-money maps I also play Protoss from time to time. On SC2 I only play Zerg for now.

Glad to hear! Also welcome to the forums. Do you play Starcraft often? Also do you happen to do the Texas Instruments TI-83+/TI-Nspire or even Casio calculator programming/gaming thing? :)

By the way, although nowadays I mostly play Starcraft II, I still load the good ol' Starcraft Brood War from time to time to play some games on US East or iCCup.

Yeah I haven't finished the campaing yet. I tend to prefer standard multiplayer games than missions, although I would still like to finish the campaing, even if on medium.

That reminds me, I wonder if Heart of the Swarm will end region locks for custom games? I heard it might. I also heard about clan support, which might be cool for creating an Omni group. But I'm particularly interested in the region lock removal if that happens, since I would finally be able to play with more people here on the forums.

yes there will be region lock removal. It'll be like sc1 or diablo 2, where you choose which server to log in at the log in screen.
