Title: Wanting to trade Mirror's Edge - Steam
Post by: aeTIos on March 31, 2014, 03:02:28 am
So. Mirror's Edge gets me completely motion sick so I figured I'd get rid off it. I want to trade it for another game. If you'd like Mirror's Edge, drop the game you wanna trade it for here.
FYI: Mirror's Edge is €9.99 on Steam.

I have Faster Than Light, which I never play. I heard that it was about the same price. That's my only steam game that isn't freeware.

Unfortunately I already have mirrors edge, so I can't really trade for it.

My one comment is though, you think you get motion sick playing on a normal screen... Imagine how bad it is playing on the occulus rift X.x Never again.

Did you tried, Eeems? That would be wicked.

And unfortunately the only thing I might trade for Mirror's Edge is another copy of Mirror's Edge.

I'm not sure what causes the motion sickness, I guess it has to do with the bobbing of the screen. I don't have it when playing portal, so it isn't the first person perspective. I do however notice that I tend to stare at the screen when playing ME, that might be (part of)  the cause.

Oculus Rift? I don't want to barf over my screen, thank you.
@ben_g thanks for the offer, I'll await if there are more people who want to trade. I'll decide at the end of the week.

Apparently a few people had it with Halo as well. Not sure what causes it, but I guess it depends of camera movement and realisticness effects used in  the game not limited to textures/graphics.

Mirror's Edge isn't really my type of game, though, so I'll have to pass on it.
