Well, technically you could play the simon game by sound alone. Not really a console, but still.

Yeah true. THat reminds me, will the 2DS be able to link play with the 3DS and older models? Also does it have online capabilities?

If you wouldn't be able to link play......just no.
Also, i don't see a reason why you shouldn't be able, as they say it is fully backwards compatible with the 3DS.

I'm just waiting for the 4DS next year. Pan-dimensional gaming would be awesome.

Sometimes, Nintendo will like to trick parents into buying something cheaper, expecting to save money, only to find out that some features are missing, so that way, parents buys the 2nd model that is complete.

But again, in Illusiat 7 or something, there's a 6th or 10th dimension I think and it's just another world.
