Title: You don't see that everyday in a store
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on April 26, 2012, 09:56:00 pm
Earlier, I went to Laurier shopping mall with juju at the Dimension store, and guess what I saw?

1) The original Earthbound SNES boxset that includes the official strategy guide, still in good shape O.O
2) Terranigma for the Super Famicom. This was the first time I see a japanese SNES game for sale over here, let alone a rare RPG O.O

Earthbound costed $499.99, though... <_<

Yup. Both. In the same store. While I spend lots of money on games and anime.

Thursday is definitely my "Shut up and take my money" day.

Yeah D:, but I guess that's because it's rare in that format. The box was really big, too. XD

Nothing to add, err yes: Yesterday, I dreamt that I found a old store who still sell old games, and I bought Zelda I for a lovely price: 11.40€ :p

By the way I came back there again afterward with Juju and asked how much did Terranigma cost and the guy said it was the same price as Earthbound complete edition ($499.99)

Lol that's an insane price, vintage or not. I have earthbound on a snes emulator on my iPhone.  Problem solved.

Terranigma? I love that game. How much was it?

@AzNg it's all about collectibility. If it was only about playing on the original console then people would buy flashcarts. A quick google showed one for $130, which supported multiple roms on CF cards.

$499.99. Yeah that's pretty insane.

Damn, that is too expensive.

I love collecting games and that would be a wonderful addition, but just too much money.

You could get almost three nsspire cx's for that price!

Yeah personally I would only buy those if I was millionaire or something, and even then I would put my money elsewhere first then only spend on those games if I still had plenty of money left afterward.

Regarding TI-Nspires, here a TI-Nspire CX costs $199.99, so yeah the game is worth two and half a TI-Nspire CX without the CAS.

If i wasn't living in belgium and if i knew those games and was interested, i'll buy them both, ok, it's much, but not like you have. To be a millionair :P
