It was either that or a key wasn't responding correctly if at all.

this happened exactly to me when i first got my calc(under different circumstances).A friend just gave me mirageOS and i accidently enabled the memory protection feature. Then,i couldn't get into the mem menu and i  couldn't understand why.all i knew was that it'd only work after i reset the ram....but right when i went back into mirageOS....anyways,i traded that calc in for a new one :Ptongue.gif ahhh...the good old days :)smile.gif

You can, and its not something that is default with mirage. Btw I would suggest using ChruchyOS (shell), as it help save the calcs archive.

Chruchy copies the program and runs it, then it makes a appvar for the write back for highscores and what not. It is able to compress programs (check out the ones Dwedit has compressed, about 1/2 the size of the original game), and it works with ion/mirage games. It isnt a complete shell yet, and I doubt it will ever be finished as he seems to have lost interest :(sad.gif (Dwedit aka Dan Weis (spelling?)).

Weiss I think.

He seems to be more interested in GBA dev right now.  Still, good for him.  Is chu chu rocket built into the shell, or is there a way to remove it?

edit: oh ya, beware the compressed version of gemini, it seems to crash.

I never had that crash on me ever, are you sure you had enough ram and it wasnt in a EMU? And it comes with Chu Chu in it, but you can pack your own programs into the app (so I am guessing you can remove as well).

well gemini is one large file, it may be the problem

It is about 14ish kb, but when you run it is seems to go to the orignal size of 24kb. But it would tell you that you dont have enough RAM before it would run..then it wouldnt run it >.>

yeah, unless there is something in gemini that require more ram at some point

ya lol, actually, I tried it in PTI first, and since it crashed, I decided to put the uncompressed version on my friend's calc to avoid complaints. :pop:xplod.gif
