A few days ago I kind of ran into a problem. I use a ti 84+. I tried to send something to my calc with ti connect and it gave me error: access is denied. I tried again and my calc showed a down arrow over the blinking cursor at the home menu. I checked the ram after that and it showed it was out. Since i couldnt transfer any apps or programs i tried resending the OS. big mistake here. It sent, but very slowly. Since it was late i had to spend the next two days without my calc because i didnt have time to resend the OS. (The two days in the past MONTH i actually needed it). So I tried a few hours ago and after sitting around for like an hour playing my ds i got the OS to finally transfer all the way. The problem is that i still cant send apps or programs. I tried using a different cable, taking out all the batteries (including backup), but I still cant send anything. any suggestions? Please?

ok so I have a 84 + also, and I have this same problem.....easy fix. Re-install ti connect :) and make sure you restart your computer once it is installed. Not a calc or OS problem. Oh and don't ever forget that ti connect will always have trouble, and it's not the best of software. I suggest Tilp if you get too fed up with it :) OH and welcome to Omni!

Thanks to all of you who posted. thepinguin77's guide worked. I thought it was a calc problem. Ticonnect really does suck. I'll switch to Tilp when i get a chance.
