Title: Accessing Nspire on Computer
Post by: hellninjas on January 20, 2012, 07:05:41 pm
I can't use the Nspire student software, as my usage expired a few days before Ndless 3.1 came out... D:
But is there any other possible way to view and transfer files to and from the nspire CX??
Please help!

TiLP should work, but you should uninstall the student software because of driver issues. (It's possible to install both at once, but it's a bit harder.)

I'm in a similar situation.
I didn't keep much of the stuff that came with my calc, so I can't actually activate the TI software, and my trial ran out.

I tried TiLP, but it was horrible.
Numerous dynamic library errors, and over all just a pain. I never did get it to work.

Wish someone would come up with something simpler :(

Won't TI's Nspire Computer link work? It's what I use!

I'm actually in the same situation, because I have a new computer and the license is non-transferable. What a ripoff.

I've tried this, but the program won't launch because the "connectivity library" won't activate. Right now TiLP works fine, except I can't seem to send anything from the calc to the PC.

To run TiLP, you need GTK+ (http://www.gtk.org).  Or did you install it when you installed TiLP?
