Unfortunately, I doubt I would be able to help much, because I only ever tried it on Windows 95, 98 and 2000 when I was still new to calc stuff. I'm not even sure if it works at all under XP.
Did you tried the patch at ticalc.org, though? If you run a ticalc search I think you can find it. However, I'm not sure if this patch is up to date or not. It might even have been added to the software itself in later updates.

jhup, I used it :[
oh well, I'm going to try to make that new TextBased game ^^
but oh shit, working makes you sleepy xp (yeah , actually, today was the first day a really worked (under a contract) ^^ )

Unfortunately I'm unsure if anyone else could help, since Art Of Camelot is gone and Tifreak8x is pretty busy it seems. Both were the only Omnimaga members who were around when ARPGCSs were at their peak of popularity besides me and since Iambian went straight to ASM, I doubt he messed much with this old software. This is not to mention it has a bad reputation because most games made with it are bad so not a lot of people tried to make anymore since 2002. Having seen Zelda: The Hero Of Hyrule, though, I am sure you can do pretty good games with it.
-
you could always just learn ASM. Iambian is a good teacher.
-
Yeah, that could be an option. Altough if someone doesn't like coding ARPGCS can be a good option. Else, sticking to BASIC can do, altough then games are much slower
-
Actually you can get asm speed as long as your willing to accept your limits your not getting 200fps nor are you getting collision detection that works for bigger numbers, but for small things you can make great graphics and speed work in basic granted you most likely will still need some sort of library it can be done.
