Title: ASCII art
Post by: jsj795 on March 26, 2010, 12:49:30 pm
If you know any good ASCII art that can be done on z80 calculator, can you please share on this topic?
While making TLM, it's really hard to make the good, descriptive map.
Perspective is NOT Overview (from the ceiling) but Sideview (from the side... duh)
Thanks!

I kinda wish I experimented more with side scrolling ASCII x.x. If you need magic animations, though, you could always use some from Illusiat games and ROL series

I don't have any suggestions, but I was wondering how you choose what characters to be used as buildings from the outside.  Which chars do you think look best? ;D

Here's a way to draw some buildings:
Use 'U's, 'H's, and '_'s for columns.  Like this:
Code: [Select]
____
HHHH
H  H
H  H
U  U
How do you like this?
