Title: Calculator cannot open ".tns" extension
Post by: gbrl_seow on February 10, 2012, 09:23:20 am
Hi, i am new to the forum and the calculator
Calculator: TI-nspire cx
Version: 3.1.0.392
I have installed Ndless v3.1 beta and placed ndless_resources.tns in the "My Documents" file of my calculator
However, when i try to open files with a ".tns" extension it gives a message "This format is not supported *****(name of the file).tns"
I can open normal documents though
Help is greatly appreciated :D

did you place the ndless_recources in My Documents\ndless directory? since when you place it just in my documents it won't work.. and you first have to place it there, and then install ndless, not the other way.

Also if you're trying to open pure wad.tns (ndoom) or gbc4nspire files, they won't open (i don't know if this was the case, but it might be possible)

Directly opening .wad and .gb files is actually supported in the latest update (although in the case of .gb files you'll have to reselect it in gbc4nspire's menu as long as it's not updated).

Oh, i think I did not install ndless properly, cause what i did was place ndless_resources.tns in My documents instead of a folder before i updated the software. Is there any way to uninstall and install ndless again?
And yes, when i try to open gbc4cx.tns i get the message.
Do i need to put gbc4cx.tns in the same file as ndless and my roms?
Thanks
