Title: Data and address bus on TI-30X IIS
Post by: Heebiegeebie Bucket on May 16, 2016, 09:11:10 pm
This is likely a stupid, over-analysed question, but here goes:

Recently I found a TI-30X IIS and decided to take a look inside. Looking at the main PCB, I saw something mildly interesting on the right side, opposite from the battery. There were 16 different pads on the board, each with a label next to it saying PAx or PDx. If the "A" might represent "Address" and the "D" might represent "Data", and there are 8 of each, is it possible that these are the Address and Data buses of the controller under the epoxy glob?

I have attached the image of the PCB.
