Hi i'm kind of new to the whole ti-nspire (I used the 84+SE for a few years) and I am wondering is their a possible way to downgrade from OS 3.9 to 3.6?
I have done a fair amount of research but I cant find a way at this point so if their is a possible way to I am willing to try it.
3 cheers for a bad OS!

Impossible unless you have a TI-Nspire Clickpad or Touchpad model. The color models (TI-Nspire CX and CX CAS) cannot be downgraded in any way for now, even with an RS232 adapter and even if the hardware revision is A through I.

Well could is is possible to unpack the OS to see its files or no?

In theory the OS should have a file that tells the software that opens it what version it is and ect... If there is such a file and it could be located in theory you could replace OS 3.6's definition file with OS 3.9's.

http://hackspire.unsads.com/wiki/index.php/OS_upgrade_files (http://hackspire.unsads.com/wiki/index.php/OS_upgrade_files) this might help (but it is outdated)

It's RSA-signed so we can't change it unless we have TI's private key.

They can. Install boot2 3.10 and nlaunch, then you can install whatever OS you like to.

Yeah I saw in another topic when that Chinese guy posted how. I was sure TI had blocked this in 3.9
