Title: How ROM dump?

I have Rom8x but it is missing the necessary programs to dump the ROM is there any other way to do this?

What do you mean by "missing the necessary programs"? There should be an 8XP file to send to your calculator. It will generate two 8XVs to send back, which you run through the computer program to generate the ROM (IIRC, though I haven't used it in a long time).

TiLP should also be able to dump a ROM image.

The one I have is a console program and it is saying to send two programs to my calc but those programs aren't there.

Did you look in the Get folder?

There was none. I got the link to ticalc and all there was was the console exe, the readme and the source.zip. I read the readme and it said that I needed two programs to send to my calc. I look in the source folder and those files weren't in there.
Edit: redownload and found get folder... don't what the issue was before.... :-/

Huh. Maybe there was an issue extracting.
