Title: I have a problem
Post by: Ki1o on September 09, 2012, 05:14:24 pm
When I tried to send a program to my calc I get an error saying that the device does not recognize the command and some numbers in brackets... what is the problem? It worked for the first three transfers. Is there a way to fix this?   ???

What software are you using, and what program are you talking about?

I'm just using TI-Connect.  The program I am trying to transfer is AxePaint.  The first three programs I transfered are Axe, Doors CS7, and Embers:Phoenix.

Hmm, the obvious, but do you have enough space, did you try reattaching the wire? How about restarting the computer? Kind of obvious, but it may help.

I reset my entire calc, unplugged itreconnected and it seemed to work. I don't whats going on exactly with my calc. (space wasn't an issue)

A full wipe may help in the future, make sure to back it up too.

Garbage collect then ram clear.
Then try connecting to computer again.
that typically solves my problems, but TI-Connect has so many issues...

I've been meaning to ask this..is TiLP capable of sending/getting normal tns files yet?  Last I checked it could only do OSes..

The time I tried TiLP to send tns, looked like there was some error whenever I tried to send something. So I had to completely uninstall it and go back to TI-nspire Computer Link Software.

I've never had any such issues, so your personal mileage may vary.

The same can be said for the TI linking softwares :P
