Title: Is using Nover 3 safe on OS 3.9?
Post by: Malcolm Forde on April 20, 2015, 11:40:52 pm
I've asked this 3 days ago in the TI_Calculators subreddit, but it hasn't been answered yet, so I figured I would ask it here since I cannot find anything about it on Google.

Ndless 3.9 not being reboot proof, Nover won't be able to adjust its settings (auto-overclock)
You can ask the author directly here: https://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=12832 (posting in English is not a problem)

(And it doesn't look like (https://github.com/Excale/nLaunchy/blob/master/src/patch_other.c#L258-L288) nLaunchy (making ndless reboot-proof by reinstalling it, kinda) overclocks OSes 3.9 - You can open an issue on the repo, though, maybe Excale (the maintainer) can add that)

Edit: well, yeah, considering nLaunchy makes it reboot-proof, you could try that I suppose. But that supposes your hardware revision is compatible with it...

I cannot use nLaunchy, unfortunately, as my hardware revision is T

Well he can't downgrade to 3.6 reliably with this HW rev.
