Title: Juju messing with his calc again and a contrast problem
Post by: Juju on February 15, 2011, 12:25:57 am
So I'm back in calculator programming after 2 years or so, I guess, even if my LCD screen is somewhat damaged and the math teacher disallowed usage of graphical calculators in tests. (Oh yeah, matrices are fun.) I loaded Doors CS 7 and Axe (making me delete half of my apps -_-).

But I ran into a problem while messing with the port 10 on Calcsys: the contrast went to the max, I write C0 to said port 10, it goes back to normal... until I turn the calc off and back on.

Now what I do? How to solve? Please help, thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, somehow, Doors CS hanged on the first start, I had to pull a battery and it RAM Cleared, solving the problem. :w00t: first RAM Cleared since a while.

Weird. Was it similar to the BSOD?  Also I'm glad you're back into calc programming. I was sad to see you stop so early after you joined :( (although I was happy you stayed around anyway :D )

No, Doors CS just stalled there, without anything to do but pulling a battery.

I see. There might be some bad program that was run before or something. Also make sure to have the latest version of DCS, in case (although I found no problem in the first DCS7 release)
