Windows support search engine (as in the on-computer help section) is horrible and whenever you use the part where you choose what your problem looks like, in most cases the solutions given won't even fix your problem and in the end they tell you "Sorry, we couldn't help you on your issue". If I remember it is written by people from India who are paid like $1 an hour and barely even speak english.

Yes, it is possible. You would follow the same steps as for programs after you create the appvar.
