Title: Nspire 1.1 Emulated 84+ and TI-Connect
Post by: bwang on May 24, 2010, 10:45:27 pm
For some reason, TILP stopped working with my Nspire's 84+ mode, possible because I downgraded to 1.1.
So, I installed TI-Connect under Windows, only to find that TI-Connect can no longer send files to my Nspire, either, because the USB Descriptors are screwy and Windows thinks the Nspire's 84 mode is actually an 89 Titanium.
Does anyone have a workaround for this, other than reverting to a newer OS?

oh I remember reading about that before. I never had the issue because I never tried the 84+ mode under 1.1. If I remember there's a topic about it on UTI forums, but I do not remember if a solution was found in it.

I think it works with Silverlink.

Mhmm calc84 is right. I'm watching the BrandonW livestream atm and in reply to a #ti comment, he said there's no way to do this with direct USB. It has to be done with SIlverlink or the like. Sorry D:

I wonder if TiLP can be patched to treat Nspire 1.1 in a special way.
