I tried running OSLauncher with the CAS OS and the Ndless off of TI-Bank that said it was compatible with OSLauncher. when I launched OSLuancher it seemed to freeze up. I then restarted the calc it froze with a nearly black loading screen and not moving clock like thing. It didn't do anything after about 5 minutes so I took the batteries out and then restarted it. Now the touchpad is not working at all. the arrowkeys are not registering and I can't click
what do I need to do to get my calc to work now?
EDIT: I have tried reinstalling the OS. the first time it said OS could not be installed file corrupt/wrong
second time I re downloaded the OS and it said the same thing

Please specify your current OS + Ndless version + HW type.
-
It seems like some calculators can't boot with CAS and others can.
P-40IB serial number ones can't I think.
-
my current OS is 2.0.1 my ndless version is ndless-2_0-beta-r392 I don't know what you mean by HW type
I am now trying to send a new OS(2.0.1) for the 4th time to see if that would fix it.
EDIT: It has now failed for the 4th time in a row. trying a fifth time

As I suggested you on #omnimaga, did you try erasing the OS ?
-
What is the key combo to do that? I'll try it right away now because My OS transfer has failed 5 times already
-
Doc+Enter+EE, as written at http://hackspire.unsads.com/wiki/index.php/Operating_System#Startup_key_combinations
I had forgotten that the information was on Hackspire, thanks to Jim Bauwens for linking to Hackspire on #omnimaga.

I tried that. when it started it went to a black screen and then flashed to a different screen I didn't get a good look at before it flashed to the regular home menu. My Nspire will no longer turn on with touchpad or 84 keypad in.
-
Do you mean that Doc+Enter+EE did not bring you a menu in which you could choose erasing the OS ?
-
I thought I saw something flash by, but no I id not see a menu other than the regular home menu
-
Have you removed the keyboard, removed one battery, put it back, and put the keyboard back while holding Doc + ENTER + EE ?
-
Have you tried using the 84 keypad and typing graph+enter+8? That is another way to bring up the menu.
-
My Nspire is currently not turning on no matter which keypad I put in. I have tried removing a battery then trying again but its not working. I had nearly 100% battery on rechargeable and regular yesterday so I don't think its out f batteries.
-
Remove all batteries, including the rechargeable one, for several minutes, put them back and try to bring it back up.
Also, does the "reset" button at the back reboot the calculator (which it should do on OS 2.0+) ?
-
I haven't checked the reset button yet
EDIT:I have taken out the batteries left hem out for 5-10 minutes and put hem back in and it still doesn't strt.
I have al;so replaced all 4 of the batteries and i still won't work
EDIT2:It is back to working now. all I had to do was remove the Rechargeable battery
Thank you jimbauwens and Lionel for helping me fix my Nspire
