Title: nspire emu doesn't work?
Post by: Yeong on October 27, 2010, 03:10:37 pm
I don't know why. I got the rom and tried to run it, it says it can't find it.
When I drag a rom file into batch file and try again, it says that nspire.emu is not a right batch file.

You have the rom, but you need the boot 2.  Using that same batch file, open it, choose (2) (TI-Nspire), then (1) (Extract Boot 2 file).  Then, you should be able to run it.

For Ndless v1.1 (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/426/42626.html), the installation steps are described in the ReadMe file. You may have problems with a CAS image, prefer a non-CAS one.
For the unstable Ndless v1.7 (http://ourl.ca/7106) (targeting developers, so you need to be able to build it yourself), the installation is not different than on a real calc.

yeah the boot2 files and the extracted boot2.img.raw are both needed.
good to see it working Yeong!
