So recently while programing on my calc, I have run into an interesting OS glitch with my calc O.O sometimes when I press the PRGM button to get to an If or While, I get the traditional list of programs instead ( like when you press it from the homescreen ). Has anybody else ever experienced this? I think I'm going to update my OS just in case it is serious
-
It's omnicalc. If you go into the quick apps screen, you get the "homescreen" menu when pressing prgm.
-
Oh that's interesting. Alright, thanks for the heads up, I was getting worried my calculator was self destructing!
-
Lolz... Reverse AI: instead of contributing to its knowledge, it slowly decays into nothingness...
-
I had that happened before too. :P I thought it was omnicalc, but didn't know how to trigger it.
Now I know
-
That's wierd. Hmm, I may need to try that... ;D
-
How do you know he had Omnicalc installed on his calc tho? That said, I haven't noticed that myself, but I might be wrong. I just haven't used Omnicalc in half a decade
-
:o Half a decade! I got a Ti-32 (I think) half a decade ago.
You havn't installed it once? Wow.
-
yeah happens al the time to me with omnicalc as well ive gotten used to it :P

Mhmm no, I never said I never installed it. I just said I didn't use Omnicalc for half a decade. The last time I used it was to make Diortem (which got revived as Metroid II Evolution a year later and moved to xLIB APP), not long after I finished Reuben Quest series
-
Like for making games you mean? I went through a phase where i liked to use it, but then i moved on to liking xLib/CelticIII better for games. I like omnicalc for the math features, plus the parenthesis assistant, and the fast apps.
-
Oh, that makes sense. I thought you hadn't had it on calc for 5+ years. ;D
-
I actually didn't have Omnicalc on my calc for 5 years, except when I tried Reuben Quest on my TI-Nspire to see if it works fine. I used Omnicalc sometimes in 2002, but back then it sucked because it crashed often and you couldn't send programs made using its functions from a calc to another. In 2004 this got fixed and Omnicalc became a revolutionary app for sprite-based game making. I discovered how to make grayscale with it then used Omnicalc until April 2005, when I ditched calcs for a few months to eventually move to xLIB APP

Note: I edited some above posts to fix the typo. None of the content was changed in the above posts that I edited, except for the name of the post.

Doh! More iTouch failure. Its at least better when i had the title of Serenity wrong for 3+ pages though XD
-
Lol I remember this XD, but back then I wasn't sure if you used iTouch so I just figured you probably thought it was spelled like this. I personally have a spell-checker but it won't automatically corrects. I have to right click underlined words and choose the right spelling
-
@DJ: I sensed it was omnicalc ;D
No, I just guessed so. (it was the most probable solution)

It is rare but when starts to happen, it can happen a lot, too.
