Hello, I'm just looking for some info on how to play games on my nspire nx cas. I've seen that you need the 3.1 version of the os, but since I just got mine it has 3.2.3.1233. I've seen a few posts on downgrading os's but no clear instructions on how to do so beyond "go here, download this os file and install it." So here's what I'm looking for.
First off, can I even downgrade from the version I have to a version that can play games?
If so, where can I get the 3.1 os in english that I need to install?
How do I install it with the student software? I've never used it.
And if I mess up, how do I go back to a new version of the os / where do I get that file?
Thank you for any help!

first of all welcome to the forums
you remind me of myself when i got my nspire cx
so i will willingly help you
----the links given are direct links to the place you need to go so no one will make spin in circles :)
first of all there are two options:
1. have os 3.1 and 3.2 together
2. have only one os
first one is better since you can play gameboy color, advance etc games while play games like minecraft craft 2d
the other one is also good
if you want both 3.1 and 3.2 then download the file from here (https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=12547) and follow instructions in the readme.
if you want to keep only 3.1
do this
hold [doc][ee][enter] together and while holding them press the reset button on the back. from the menu that comes press 2 then 1
when the install os comes put this file (https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=3718) onto the calculator.
then comes the hacking part
get the files in this folder according to the readme https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=3891p (https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=3891p)
or from here (http://ndlessly.wordpress.com/ndless-user-guide/)
as far the student software goes it is like your windows explorer or finder(mac) but only allows TI nspire documents
hope this helps
