that happens a lot sometimes, and not just 84+, but 89s too.

sometimes resetting RAM works for me.  Other times, it's the cable.

I hear TiLP is good, but I haven't tried it yet.

Is it fixable if it's the cable? I heard lot of people got this error with USB cable. I think it happened me a few times too with the normal serial cable though

I used to get those alot a while ago, but lately the errors have stopped.
When I did get them, I would just archive anything important and reset the RAM.

I haven't received the error in a while, so maybe it is the OS?
Try upgrading to the most recent OS to see if that solves the problem.

oh that time, i think my friend's link port was clogged up, and I think i just fixed it.  it might be unrelated to this now that I think of it.  I just remember that his calc could be pretty annoying.  This was a silver link btw.

mines a black, and resetting the ram works... kindof.  i'm trying to download metroid, and it only sends over like three or four files, and then gives me the error, i archive the files, reset the ram, and start where i left off.  which, in the case of metroid, is verry annoying =P(metroid 2, not  pi metroid)

hmmmm... I would try drop kicking it and then follow up with a body slam and try again  :Ptongue.gif  j/k. I dunno, I had some strange problems with ticonnect when i first started using it, but they seem to have gone away. Just disconnect it and try again, thats all i can tell ya.
