Title: semi frozem cx
Post by: Rhombicuboctahedron on October 29, 2012, 07:23:25 pm
I have an nspire cx, and it has a problem
I am trying to get it to work, to reset to a working calculator
I’ve reset, reformatted with doc, enter EE on, and deleted documents
But whenever I do this, it just goes to the screen with the bunch of lines, and instead of a having a spinning clock, the clock is still
I’ve tried to take the battery out, but it doesn’t want to come out, and I don’t want to rip it

Hold Esc+Menu+Minus while booting.

Yes - the diags software when launched will detect the problem and fix it.

It should report the problem to you mentionning some GPIO error.
Press Esc, and when you get the Diags menu, just press the reset button on the back.

Your CX should reboot normally :)

Okay, so that should work even when pressing Doc, Enter, EE on doesn’t fix it.
I left might calc at home today, so I’ll try it when I get home.

Danke!
I don’t know if it helped, but I did that, the screen showed a bunch of fail, fail, pass, fail, fail, maxfail
Then I sent os 3.2, and it worked, then I sent os 3.1, and it worked.
