Hey Guys,
I have a question. As the topic indicates is it possible to shutdown completely? I mean that the calc has to boot the OS again. Yes I know you can set the hibernate to 1 day but that is not helpful.
PS. Did I already introduce myself?

Remove the batteries?

Try doing that on a CX ^^
I suppose it might be possible with an Ndless application.

You'd only have to unscrew the back and then rip out a delicate piece of wire :P
Reset makes your calc reload the OS, but like said it might be possible widht ndless.

Somebody here who want to program an app like this?? :D

I don't think someone would want to always carry a screwdriver or keep one nearby everytime he uses his calc then have to unscrew the battery case every day to remove the battery.
That said I have absolutely no clue why those batteries are drained completely when the calc is not used and becomes in Standby mode, when my Nintendo 3DS energy remains intact even after 6 months of non-use... It's almost as bad as the iPod Touch.

It might be that the batteries in both the calculator and the iPod Touch have a higher rate of self-discharge.

So why would one want to completely shut down the calculator anyway?

Power saving? I, for one, would like to be able to do this sans screwdriver.
