So I got the 84+ keypad today. I installed DoorCS v6.2 and after my calc restarted, everytime I hit on it cuts to loading screen then off. Any ideas?

Myntal, the same exact thing has been happening to my Nspire for the past few days (I am using DCS 6.8 BETA btw). I don't have any idea why this happens. I wonder if it has to do with DCS or it could be something else. Even 2nd, Mode, 0, On will not fix this for me. I am sure that resending the OS will easily fix this (I have just been too lazy to do it to mine).

how does one do this?
-
1. reinstall the nspire OS
2. get the latest DCS, it fixes the problem (DCS 7 RC1), I had the same problem too

Resending the OS?
Download the OS you want (if you don't want 2.1, I believe 1.7/2.0 is on TI's website, you can get them from TI Bank), then open computer link 1.4, and in one of the tabs on the top (I forget which one and I have no way to check now), there is an option "send OS". Just choose the OS file you want, and it will upgrade/downgrade/resend the OS to the calculator.

Use Doors CS 7 RC 1! It's the latest and greatest. Here, come get it in this topic and discuss any issues you find:

Yes, pretty much, I do hope you know that 6.2 isnt the best DCS to have as it is a tad UNSTABLE! :P
Srsly Use RC1

I guess I will have to update my Nspire when I can send files again. :)
I can't say I have used the 83/84 family of calcs much, but DCS has added a lot of functionability to the parts of this calc I use!

How do I use DoorCS to run apps?

How do I use DoorCS to run apps?
Errr, you don't, you run the apps from the Apps menu. Feel free to post in the Cemetech topic I linked you to with any questions, though, since I don't check here often.

It's in my post five posts up the page, but here it is again:
