Title: TI-nspire CAS calculator running the gbc emulator help.
Post by: PotatoJam on January 24, 2011, 05:42:35 am
hi guys, im completely new to the calculator hacking/modding scene... given the fact that i only got my TI-nspire CAS calculator today. I had heard that i was possible to load games up onto my new calculator, and so naturally, i began searching for ways to hack it, to run emulators and such, and thats what has lead me to this great website. I've been looking around for a bit now, and, forgive me if im wrong here, but i cant seem to find some clear-cut instructions about how to install the gbc emulator on my calculator. If im being an idiot and there is a clear topic that would show me how, point me in the direction of it please. XD i have the TI-nspire CAS, and in the settings it says its version 2.0.0.1188 if you require that information. If someone could post in clear steps what programs i should run, what folders and other things i should copy stuff into on my calculator, it would be MUCH appreciated.
Cheers,
~Potato~

First of all, is it a Touchpad or a Clickpad model?

In any case, you'll need Ndless to jailbreak your Nspire.

First, you need a copy of Ndless 2.0.  More information on this can be found in the Ndless thread here.

For gbc4nspire, because you have a touchpad, you cannot use the version on ticalc.org.  Use the version here:

Good luck! :)
