Ti-Nspire connection problem

When I put in my 84 keypad and connect it to my computer it installed TI-84SE but TI Connect Ti-Nspire Computer link and the Ti-Nspire computer software don't recognize it. How can I fix this and upload files to my Ti-84? :banghead: :mad:

I think you need the normal TI-Connect, not the Nspire one.

^this. Also make sure to not connect the calc before TI-Connect is installed.

I did try it with regular Ti-Connect. It still didn't work.

I don't get errors it just doesn't see my calculator at all and I have checked the usb connection it always works when I switch back to the touchpad

What Nspire OS version are you using ? The 84+SE mode in OS 1.1 is borked, the calculator exposes the USB ID of a 89T.

I'm running Nspire OS 2.1 with a touchpad and i don't know what 84 OS i have

EDIT: I changed my Nspire OS to 2.0 and my Ti-84 OS is 2.53
