Welcome to Omnimaga! :)

If you have an Nspire CAS, use the exact( function.

If you have a regular Nspire, there is not "exact" way to do this, but your best bet will be pressing menu, 2, 2 to get an "approximate fraction" tool.  This is not as accurate as the CAS exact( function, but, in most cases, it will do the job!  You might get an answer closer to what you want by lowering the accuracy of the calculation of the fraction (from 5*10^-14 to something lower) :)

Good luck!

Yes I have a regular Nspire.
I tried what you said before.. but it isn't working. I do menu-2-2 and appears   factor()  , then I put a decimal numer into brackets, click enter, and the number stays the sime...  ???

What OS do you have?

In OS 2.0+, factor is menu, 2, 3, could you have accidentally pressed 3?

Ok, OS version 1.3 does not have this function.

I would recommended updating you OS to version 2.0.1.60 (I would not recommend using the latest version, 2.1 for various reasons).
Download here: http://ourl.ca/7373
Then, send it using the Nspire Computer Link Software from TI's website.

Heya and welcome here.

Just make sure to not download OS 2.0, but download 2.0.1 instead. It is not 100% sure, but 2.0 appears to have dangerous bugs with USB that can permanently damage the calculator.
