So I have TiConnect v1.6, and it used to send and recieve programs just fine.
Recently, I downgraded my OS from 2.53 to 2.22 b/c of compatibility issues with TiConnect, but now, even though it connected fine the day after, the programs won't transfer, giving me an error message of "connection has been lost" whenever I transfer programs.
Which really sucks because of the new cage match entries I want to try out.
Help?

Try reinstalling TI-Connect.
-
Have you ever used tiLP? If yes, uninstall both and reinstall only one of them.
Also, don't only uninstall, remove tiLP and tiConnect drivers, they collide with each other.
-
archive your programs.
Garbage collect.
Clear your ram.
I have to do this every time i connect.
-
Why not use 2.43 instead of 2.22?
Also, Scout you can have both TiLP and TI-Connect installed at once, since TiLP can use the TI-Connect drivers instead of it's own, but I prefer not doing so.
-
Really? I always thought the drivers conflicted... x.x
EDIT: OH NOEZ! I AM NOT HELL'S KNIGHT ANYMORE...
-
I'll try reinstalling it and garbage collecting.
Can someone post a link for 2.43?

This page has download links for 2.43, and...
WAIT WHAT DID THEY RELEASE 2.55? ??????

Apparently, TI-Connect comes with OS 2.22. O.O

Yeah, I have a CD for a TI-84+SE that has 2.22.
-
Does the downloadable version on TI website come with 2.22 as well? I wonder if newer 84+ calcs does either? If he bought his calc used then he might have gotten an older CD with OS 2.22 on it.

2.22 was included when I downloaded TI Connect a few moths ago, so I guess TI hasn't bothered to replace it.

Seconded. Once you get TI connect reinstalled upgrade to 2.43 (the most recent before Mathprint was added). 2.22 was a pretty crappy OS from what I've heard.
-
BrandonW likes to complain about it. Apparently USB support is very buggy.
My TI-Connect install is also packaged with 2.22.

Well, nope, TILP cannot use TI-Connect's drivers, and TI-Connect cannot use TILP's drivers, for both licensing (GPL/proprietary) and functionality/trustworthiness reasons ;)

Yeah, that's what I thought too.

So this is what i did:
Uninstalled TiConnect 1.6.1, reinstalled it.
Doesn't work.
Uninstalled that, reinstalled v.1.6.
Still doesn't work.
Uninstalled that and installed tiLP.
Still doesn't work.
Uninstalled tiLP and Gtk+ and reinstalled tiConnect v 1.6.1.
Still doesn't work.
When I first plug my calc in, it recognizes the drivers and installs them. However, ticonnect doesn't even register that there is a calc plugged into it- it just looks in com1, doesn't give me a usb1 option.
I'm using the black usb cable, and I have OS v2.43.
Tried garbage collecting and ram reset before, still doesn't work.
-
uninstall ti-connect.
unplug ur calc.
Install ti-connect.
right after you press install, plug your calc in.
This way the drivers and ti-connect install at the same time.
It worked for me.

Tried that, still doesn't work.

I have a TIConnect problem to post :(
TIConnect recognizes the device, and can screencapture and stuff like that. It just can't send anything.
When I try sending anything I get one of the two:
1) cannot communicate with the calculator
2) transfer failed. retry may be successful[8C010000]
can anyone help?

I have had problems with TI-Connect not being able to communicate with the TI-84+SE emulator on my calculator. I have downloaded/reinstalled TI-Connect twice and It still doesn't work. anyone have any ideas why not.
whenever i try connecting to it I go to TI-Device Explorer and try to find it. I have my Nspire on with 84+SE keypad in. I have it connected to the computer through a USB extension cable/hub. I do not know what is going wrong please help
