Title: Awesome Rick Roll Idea

So as I posted last week I mentioned that I am doing sound for my school's Spring play production. It happens to be Steel Magnolias for those who know it. Anywho, at the end of the play one of the girls hits the radio on her way out and the theme song from Hawaii 5-0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSAYrRJrbAI) is supposed to start playing (because a girl in earlier in the show dies and its her theme song). My idea was that on closing night instead of playing Hawaii 5-0's theme I played Never Gonna Give You Up. What do you guys think of that? :P

lol that would be funny, as long as most people are aware of internet memes that are around (especially the rickroll) and that somebody has a camera to film the event in case it works well :P

Well since closing night is usually our fullest night I figure every kid in the audience will get it ('cause come on, what self respecting teenager hasn't been Rick Rolled :P). Only thing I'm afraid of is the directors reaction lol.

well, the issue is that in some areas of the world, internet stuff is not as known. Over where I live, until the last two or three years, most people did not have internet and even today, most people mostly care about partys, thus, barely use the internet at all. I wouldn't be surprised if at my work, only one or two people knew what's a rickroll.

Oh, well that sucks. I'm fairly sure here in Colorado though a lot of people at my school know about it.

The rickroll program is most likely located in one of the E:SoR threads. I think if it wasn't for the file size, Iambian was actually planning to include it as battle transition for an optional boss fight :P
