He may not have had the time to remove it XD

Hahaha, nice one!

I liked the bit about how it was seized due to members known to visit forums that hosts links to illegal content having posted other content on Clrhome XD. It reminds me when Sony tried to get someone in jail for jailbreaking his PS3.

lol
it still is up too

Whoops, forgot to take that down XD Happy April Fools'!
If you've never seen a message like that before: http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=seized (http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=seized)

I love the 1984 reference! Deep, that's awesome!

Thanks :D Though the background is a bit weird. Anyway, permalink is at http://clrhome.org/b/seized/ in case anyone wants it.

INGSOC - English Socialism
And the party slogans around it.
War is Peace
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength
If you don't know what I am talking about, then I strongly recommend you read Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. One of the best books of all time
I like the overall design of the logo :D
Very nice, had me tricked there for a moment, reminded me of megaupload.

1984 is a famous (English) dystopian novel by George Orwell. It's about a world where the government has learned to manipulate everything in their citizens' lives to serve its own interest, and INGSOC and the slogans are references, as Jonius said.
-
I never read that book before, but it does sounds interesting.
Is the book like "Brave New World" ?

Technicially it's not correct to state the title of the book as 1984. It's Nineteen Eighty-Four, unless if the American editions do actually say 1984.
They have telescreens which are like our surveillance cameras we have today, constantly monitoring people for any signs of rebellion.

It may be like Brave New World, though it's so long since I read the synopsis of that that I can't really make a comparisoon.

I'll give the book a try. :)

Weird, I've seen more covers with the digits on it (even when I search for "nineteen eighty four" on Google (https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=nineteen+eighty+four)) though I guess it really doesn't matter. I'd imagine the official title would be Nineteen Eighty Four though.
I liked the book better than Brave New World, though I have to admit the Brave New World is closer to where we are today D:
