I just had a really crazy thought: What if we only exist in a supercomputer? What if our life is just some fun strategy game someone made for enjoyment? If so, What kind of language do you think it would be programmed in ;)? There are so many theories on our life... ITS MADNESS! x.x

Sounds a lot like the "What if we are all just imaginary characters in somethings dream?" thought ;)

Then we'd ponder on what exists outside the supercomputer.

This reminds me this thread :P http://ourl.ca/18910/348013;topicseen#new

Reminds me, there are actual studies about this.

I think if it were true, Omni would have hacked it or crashed it by now... Or maybe it's true and they are experimenting on us!
I suspect Google...

I think to believe something like that to be true is pretty crazy indeed. :P
All makes sense to me when there's a god, so no.

But that god you are talking about could be the programmer that created us, still fitting with the definition of the creator of the world ;)

Well, in someway you could call us "programmed".(instincts and stuff). :P
But I wouldn't stick a language to it.

Whelp, looks like the matrix has us.
ALL of us...

Well, I imagine you would need the computer to hold memory of every particle in the universe, and not just the approximately 10^80 atoms, but instead all of their particles, like protons quarks, electrons, ect. And all of the photons. And you would probably need memory of their position, speed, forces on them, ect. And all this would require an insane amount of memory. I imagine a computer would need at least one particle per piece of memory (probably a lot more, but I am doing a low estimate). Since each particle in our universe has several qualities that need to be recorded, it would require a computer with more particles than our universe. Which seems impossible to me.

Hey, I question me that every day, so that means if you say that that thought is crazy that i'm crazy? YAY/me joins the crazy-community and parties :D
