I could run it fine until I was 1000+ days past the trial period ???

(afterward it doesn't let you, tho)

Also technically IRC has been there still. Just OmnomIRC wasn't, so you were forced to use an IRC client or web page to get on.

Also shmibs I thought Alberthro now hosted it?? ???

Albert hosts it but it connects through a ZNC on Omni's server.

Ah ok, so that explains the Amazon hostname.

Does he need extra RAM/stuff as server upgrade that might cost extra money, though? I was willing to help juju on that since Juju server's slow but I wasn't sure if Alberthrocks still needed any or might need any in the future to keep Omnom online.

Indeed, I'm the hoster of OmnomIRC. I did a few optimizations (less memory usage for MySQL, using NGINX + PHP5-FPM for web interface, and probably some others).

As for resources... I probably haven't seen the worst of running it yet. :P
Just in case, I'm limiting CPU usage to 1 core (out of 4) so my VPS provider doesn't get (too) upset.

Basically, you'll know if OmnomIRC is OMNOMING if the server load >= 1 :)

Yeah, I just realized alberthro had already explained everything on the second page :/ (I was on the mobile site and it only displayed five posts at a time, and I didn't notice there were more.)
